Around 9.15pm a 20-year-old Oxenford man was driving along Siganto Drive when he observed a woman standing next to a green Ford Falcon sedan on the roadside that appeared to have broken down.
The man stopped and got out of his car to offer assistance to the woman, when two men approached him demanding the keys to his vehicle.
The man tried to run away but was forced to the ground and threatened by the men, before throwing his keys onto the road.
The pair left in the man’s car, a blue 2005 model Holden Avalanche, Queensland registration 488 SRQ.
The woman drove away in the green Ford Falcon.
The man suffered bruising during the incident.
Both men are described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, around 190cm tall, of a solid build, and mid 30s in age.
The woman is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance with blonde hair, in her mid 30’s, around 160cm tall and of a slim build.
Investigations are continuing.
